About this vintage design furniture
Pair of chairs produced by Steiner (Paris) in the 50s by Wilhelm Von Bode. Both chairs have the manufacturer's label and have been fully restored. The surface has been varnished. The seats were covered with leatherette. New foam (HR 42, high resistance). The old springs have been replaced by new straps.

About the designer
Wilhelm VON BODE
Wilhelm von Bode was a German art historian and collector, born on December 10, 1845 in Calvörde and died on March 1, 1929 in Berlin. He is best known for his work as director of the Berlin Museum (now the Bode Museum), where he organized several important exhibitions and acquired numerous works of art for the museum's collection.
