About this vintage design furniture
Special Kengu lounge armchair designed by Erda & Nordahl Solheim for Rybo Rykken & Co, Norway 1970s. Beechwood frame in beautiful curved lines with a rosewood finish. The padded dark brown leather cushion lies on a stretched brown leather seat. Fine seating comfort. Good vintage condition. There is a light white cast on the leather seat.

Elsa Solheim and Nordahl Solheim are two Norwegian designers who worked together under the name Solheim Design Studio. Elsa Solheim was born in 1922 and died in 2012, while Nordahl Solheim was born in 1919 and died in 2014.
