Dutch mid-century dining chairs, 1950s. Made by Louis van Teeffelen for WéBé, he designed this chair with comfort in mind. Also called the scissor or pelican model. Made of solid teakwood with the original black leatherette upholstery. Seat height: 47 cm.

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
