A bronze butterfly coffee table base by Jacques Duval-Brasseur, French, 1970s. Jacques Duval-Brasseur Born in 1934 is a French designer and sculptor entirely inspired by nature. Since early childhood he felt a strong attraction to art and at 17 years old he decided to leave his family to attend Les Beaux Arts School in Cherbourg, France.

Jacques DUVAL-BRASSEUR
Jacques Duval-Brasseur was a French sculptor born in 1924 in Neuilly-sur-Seine and died in 2021 in Paris. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris and began his career as an industrial designer for companies such as Air France and Renault.
