About this vintage design furniture
This Kina pendant lamp was produced by Lyfa in the sixties and is one of the most famous designs of Danish designer Bent Karlby. It is made of white opaline glass and nice brass elements with a nod to China, however in a stylish and elegant way. This pendant is in a good and clean condition. At the inside of the lower brass element there is some damage to the glass, but not visible on the outside.

Bent KARLBY
Bent Karlby (1912-1998) was a Danish designer renowned for his contributions to the lighting industry. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he developed his minimalist, functional style.
