About this vintage design furniture
Coffee table from the ’Futura’ series designed by David Rosén and manufactured by Nordiska Kompaniet in Sweden, circa 1950. This well-designed piece is made teakwood with a brass detail connecting the base to the top. It has the original manufacuter’s plaque at the bottom. In good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.

About the designer
Sonna ROSEN
Sonna Rosen is a Swedish designer born in 1920. She studied at the Konstfack School of Design in Stockholm in the 1940s and began her career as a textile designer. In the 1950s, Rosen worked as a designer for the interior design company Nordiska Kompaniet, where she developed a reputation for creating modern, colorful designs.
