Set of 6 Leggera chairs designed in the 1950s by Gio Ponti and produced by Cassina. Ashwood structure and seat in Indian cane. Logo Figli di Amedeo Cassina, production late 1950s. Excellent condition of the structure, some signs due to the age. Dimensions: width 42.5 cm, depth 45 cm, height 83 cm, seat height 44.5 cm.

Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
