Vintage Pulkka armchair with black leather ottoman by Ilmari Lappalainen for Asko, Finland 1960

The Asko Pulkka leather armchair in black leather is, like the ottoman, in very good condition. The leather is soft and undamaged, the seams are all in good condition. The seat shell of the armchair rests on an aluminum frame and is multi-adjustable. The frame shows minimal signs of wear. In combination with the ottoman, the Pulkka armchair offers a fantastic sitting experience. Finnish designer Ilmari Lappalainen designed this armchair for Asko Finland at the end of the 1960s, creating a design classic.
