About this vintage design furniture
Secretary desk with tubular structure in chrome-plated steel with a varnished wooden box in burgundy color, opening by a drawer and a locker, by Marcel BREUER. The tray is made of tinted glass. Corresponds to the model created in 1935, which was published by Thonet under reference S2852. In good condition, with bites on the metal in the lower part.

About the designer
Otto BRAUER
Otto Brauer (1918-1967) was a Danish industrial designer, famous for his creations in glass and metal. He studied at the Royal Danish School of Fine Arts and worked for a number of design and glass companies, including Holmegaard Glassworks, where he created some of his most famous works.
