About this vintage design furniture
Austinsuite tall sideboard with bar or secretaire space made of teak and afromosia. Designed by Frank Guille in the 1970s for the British firm, this piece of furniture is presented as a perfect combo between Mid Century aesthetics and functionality.
In the lower part of the furniture there are three drawers, the first of which is a cutlery holder, and a storage space with a central shelf behind two doors. Above it, it leaves us a free space to finish the piece with an open shelf and a folding door that reveals the space for the bar cabinet or secretaire made of vinyl and lacquered in matte black. It is finished with exquisite turned solid teak legs forming an inverted T and solid afromosia wood handles that subtly contrast with the tone of the teak.
The furniture is in a very good state of conservation after having been restored and finished with ecological oils and waxes to guarantee its waterproofness and durability. It may have slight marks consistent with its age.
