About this vintage design furniture
This charming, older work is reminiscent of a bygone Europe, where the church was a theater and village boys played elaborately costumed actors in a grand spectacle. The figurine is designed to hold a small candle, although I have seen it used to hold a single flower (there is a hole in the bottom, so they are not vases and do not hold water).
What I love about them, and what I think sets them apart from regular action figures of this type, is that they are not exact copies of each other. Each figurine is painted by hand.
I don't have the box. I'll just use his photo for context. The item was made by the German company Lilienthal Company, which was established in 1959.
Figurine in very good vintage condition, no chips, cracks, fading, cracks or stains. This charming figurine will add charm and class to your Christmas table.
