Set of 2 "666 wsp" chairs by Jens Risom for Hans G Knoll Associates - Stained maple frame, yellow vinyl strap, early 1950s edition - A classic from the Knoll Studio, Jens Risom's designs were the first pieces manufactured by Knoll. Due to wartime restrictions on materials, this style of chair was originally built with simple maple frames and discarded parachute straps. This collection contributed to making Knoll an early source of modern design in America - Please find attached the photo of page 192 of 1000 chairs by Charlotte and Peter fiell referencing this model - Set in good condition with some traces of time and use including stains notably on the straps, scratches, discolorations, rubbing, dents and other marks - {height: 80cm - seat height: 44cm - width: 39,5cm - seat width: 39,5cm - depth: 46cm - seat depth: 40,5cm}

About the designer
Jens RISOM
1916 - 2016Jens Risom (1916-2016) was a Danish-born designer who made a name for himself in the United States. After studying cabinetmaking in Copenhagen, he worked for the famous Danish designer Kaare Klint before moving to the USA in 1939.
