Pair of modernist armchairs from the 1950s. These French armchairs are typical of the modernist movement. They are close to the work of Pierre Guariche in particular. They rest on a black-lacquered tubular metal base. The armrests are detached from the backrest, giving this pair a distinctive originality and lightness. Ideal for a living room, their rounded backs offer pleasant comfort. They've been reupholstered in a pretty cream mottled fabric. Seat height is 40cm. 4 armchairs, 2 pairs available in total.
