Vintage solid beech armchair, France 1950

Mid-century French armchair in solid beech, both in structure and legs. The design inevitably recalls pieces by Besnard, Paulin or Guariche from the second half of the 20th century. Excellent ergonomics, its profile highlights the elaborate design of its armrests, which give the piece great visual strength. It is reupholstered in mustard bouclette from the Spanish firm Linum, which contrasts subtly with the luminous tone of the solid beech legs. The seat height is 44 cm. After restoration, it is in very good condition, both visually and structurally. The legs, polished and waxed with colorless oil, have a few visible stains in keeping with the age of the piece.
