Set of four String chairs with a white frame and magenta upholstery designed by Niels Jorgen Haugesen for Tranekaer Denmark in c. 1980s. These Danish chairs are very beautiful to look at and surprisingly comfortable to sit in. These chairs have a solid ash frame, the back is covered with black cord and they are upholstered in magenta (purple/red) wool fabric. The chairs have been checked, cleaned and, where necessary, the joints restored. The condition is still good and original with some minor paint damage and colour difference. Dimensions: h x w x d = 73 x 56 x 55 cm and the seat height is 44 cm. Marked: Tranekaer Denmark. The price is for the set of four. Reference : 307419
