Cristóbal Gabarrón (1945-) Cristóbal Gabarrón was born in Mula, Murcia, in 1945, but soon settled in Valladolid, although his training is influenced by his travels through France, Italy and New York, where he has resided for long periods. His work is marked by an anthropocentric vision, always taking humanism as a common thread: man, life and the development of human values are some of his favorite themes. Some of his works are tributes to the peaceful coexistence between cultures. During his career, he has used different artistic disciplines: he makes sculptures, paintings, creates sets, monumental montages... He is currently considered one of the most representative artists of the last generations of Spanish artists. Recognized internationally, his works have been exhibited in prestigious European and American cities, such as Miami, New York, Madrid, Gdansk, Lisbon, Saint Paul de Vence, Valladolid, Murcia, Coruña, Santiago de Compostela or Valencia.
