Sideboard - Mcintosh- "Eden" model - 1960s This magnificent mid-century sideboard was designed by Tom Robertson for Mcintosh of Kirkcaldy, Scotland. A classic mid-century design, sculptural with superb lines, the solid handles are beautifully styled and very elegant. This functional piece offers a large double cupboard, with built-in shelves, a built-in cutlery drawer and two further drawers. All drawers move well, the cabinet hinges also work well, the room has been very well maintained. Created in 1869 by Alexander Henry Mcintosh, McIntosh furniture has become synonymous with design, craftsmanship and high-quality materials. The model shown here is particularly rare.
