About this vintage design furniture

Large table lamp by Jean Claude Mahey from the 70s. The body of the lamp is in cream-colored lacquered wood, the base in gilded and chromed brass. This lamp is in good condition with its original pagoda shade, which has a small damp spot on the back (see photo). Dimensions: total height with shade 73 cm, length 50 cm, depth 35 cm. About the designer

Jean-Claude MAHEY

Mahey is a French designer born in Paris in 1937. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris and began his career working for designer Jacques Adnet. He then opened his own design studio in 1968.
