Molla" floor lamp by designers Cesare Leonardi and Francesca Stagi for Lumenform, Italy 1971.
Flexible chrome-plated steel rod terminated at each end by a rubber ball. The chrome-plated spotlight moves along the rod on two rubber wheels. Tension between floor and ceiling is enough to hold this minimalist floor lamp.
Very good condition.

Franca Stagni and Cesare Leonardi are a couple of Italian architects and designers. Franca Stagni was born in Forlì in 1927, and Cesare Leonardi in Rome in 1935. They both studied architecture at the University of Florence, where they first met.
