Vintage armchair in solid wood and green velvet by Guy Besnard, 1950

Armchair by French designer Guy Besnard upholstered in green velvet. Original piece from the 1950s with a marked French design style of the time. Solid wood structure in which both the seat and the backrest are really comfortable, preserving the high quality foams of the original piece. What stands out in its design is the incredible profile that builds the shape of its armrests and the subtle inclination of the different pieces that make it up. The upholstery is finished with two buttons covered in the same fabric. All of this contrasts with delicate black iron legs that round off an exquisite design that tells us about the designer's care in building functional, comfortable pieces in which all the profiles work visually. As a note for adults about its measurements, the seat height is 40cm. It is in very good condition as it has been reupholstered in green velvet. The structure has been lacquered in matte black and the leg caps have been replaced for greater stability. Reference : 303419
