Vintage RH 302 leather armchair by Robert Haussmann for De Sede, Switzerland 1954
Germany

About this vintage design furniture
One of the classics among vintage armchairs, a RH 302, in cream-colored leather in very good condition. The high-quality leather shows hardly any signs of wear, apart from a scratch on the piping on the backrest. The seat and back cushions are firm, the down-filled cushions are supple and soft. The solid chrome frame of the armchair, made by Ernst Riess and Sohn Heringen/Werra, shows hardly any signs of wear.
The most famous Swiss architect and designer Robert Haussmann designed this armchair in 1954. Production was first carried out by Hans Kaufeld in Germany and later by De Sede in Switzerland. This model was most likely made by De Sede.
