Vintage armchair “Rock ‘n Rest” by Rastad and Relling for Gimson and Slater, 1960s

Adjustable sand yellow Rock ‘n Rest men’s armchair designed by Rolf Rastad and Adolf Relling and made by Gimson and Slater in the 1960s. This armchair is reupholstered in beautiful yellow / brown embossed fabric type “Andes 20” by de Ploeg The armchair is adjustable in eight positions by means of a lever, which is locked in the desired position. The eight sitting/lying positions make this chair extremely comfortable. The frame is made of solid teak and has a beautiful organic design. With new sand yellow upholstery, this armchair is back in very good condition with normal signs of use on the wooden frame (see photos). Dimensions chair: h x w x d = 101 x 71 x 87 cm and the seat height is 40 cm. Reference : 294074
