About this vintage design furniture
Mid Century olive oil and vinegar set designed and produced by Artek in the 1960s. Artek was founded in Helsinki in 1935 by four young idealists: Alvar and Aino Aalto, Maire Gullichsen and Nils-Gustav Hahl. They wanted to promote a modern culture of living, inspired by architect Walter Gropius. Artek is collection consists of furniture, lighting, and accessories designed by Finnish masters and leading international designers. It stands for clarity, functionality, and poetic simplicity. This set is dating from the 1960s and is made in clear glass and expressive olive wood, known for its rich color palette and fine texture. The set stands in a very good condition and is labeled with the original cat label.
