About this vintage design furniture
Secretary / writing cabinet in teak by Johannes Sorth for Nexø Møbelfabrik Bornholm. Conical shape with shelves and round legs, pull out desktop, tambour doors and drawers. Denmark 1950s. first production series. In very good vintage condition with normal signs of age and traces of use. Ready to stand. Size: H. 182 cm / W. 100 cm / D. 42.5 cm / 21 cm

About the designer
Johannes SORTH
Johannes Sorth was a renowned Danish designer who was born in 1937 and died in 2017. He is best known for his work in industrial design, particularly for his elegant modern furniture designs. Sorth studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, graduating in 1963.
