Vintage teak coffee table by Willumsen and Engholm for Fritz Hansen Denmark 1950

This Iconic Scandinavian Modern circular foldable teak coffeetable table with removable tray top has been designed by Svend Åge Willumsen and Hans Engholm for Fritz Hansen, Denmark 1950s, Model 4508. it features a black lacquered foldable base and a circular tray top and is in very good original vintage condition and ready to use. Marked FH Made in Denmark on the underside of the base, underside of the tray marked Danish Furnituremakers control mark and FH fot Fritz Hansen. Light, leggy, and incredibly useful, this tray-top table folds flat for easy storage when not in use. When open, the sleek tapered black legs support the teak top with a raised lip. The scale and versatility of the design makes this table useful as an end table, nightstand, small coffee table or occasional piece and will be the perfect addition for any Scandinavian and Midcentury Modern home.
