About this vintage design furniture

Desk utensil: Hand-blotter made of hand-hammered brass, manufactured in the 1950s. Design by Alfred Schäfter. Workshop mark: "AS" and "Handarbeit". Very good condition, slight signs of use and age patina. Alfred Schäfter (1902-1970), he was a German gold- and silversmith, in 1927 he was appointed head of the metal workshop at the Bauhaus-Dessau. Reference : 289838
