About this vintage design furniture
A lounge chair with thick leather covers and a rosewood frame. It has the manufacturer details to the underside. The seat is placed on a canvas bottom and the back hangs in the frame with rope. Designed by Oddvin Rykken and manufactured by Rykken & Co in Norway.

About the designer
Oddvin RYKKEN
Oddvin Rykken (1928-2013) was a Norwegian industrial designer known for his innovative, minimalist work in the 60s and 70s. He studied carpentry and design at the Oslo School of Arts and Crafts, then worked for various design companies in Norway.
