About this vintage design furniture

Set of two armchairs model 350 designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen made of solid oak. Upholstered with dark brown Kvadrat wool fabric on seat and backpiece. Manufactured by Søborg Møbler, 1959. Good original condition. Patinated with signs of wear consistent with age and use. Dimensions: H 75.5 cm x W 62.5 cm x D 49.5 cm, seat height 45 cm Reference : 285232

Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN

Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
