About this vintage design furniture

Beautiful double-decker cabinet designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe. It comes from the ‘Made to Measure’ series that was produced in the Netherlands from the early 1950s to the mid-1960s. With its diversity in height, colour and use of materials, this item reminds me of the playful kitchen units and multi-part cabinets that Le Corbusier designed in the late 1940s and early 1950s. The cabinet is in very good condition with some signs of wear on the teak wood. See the pictures. All lacquered doors are in perfect condition and all shelves are adjustable in height. H x W x D = 121 x 185 x 47 cm / 47.6 x 72.8 x 18.5 inch. Reference : 285111
