About this vintage design furniture
A simple yet functional oak desk model 156 designed by Hans J. Wegner for Getama in Denmark in the 1970s as a project for a Danish school and later became a commonly used piece of furniture. A stunning straightforward design with floating drawers and a subtly elevated top features two drawers in front and storage space at the back. There was a lock originally that must have been removed by the previous owner, and also, there seem to be document dividers in one of the drawers.
This well-crafted piece of mid-century furniture from Denmark is made of oak veneer with solid wood details. The desk is in fantastic original condition, with the lacquer cleaned and preserved with processional compounds. It has absolutely minimal traces of use, and the wood is bright and clean.
