About this vintage design furniture
These two armchairs were designed by Jan Vanek in the 1930s. The hemp straps have been renewed and the wooden parts repainted. The cushions have a coconut fiber core wrapped in sheep wool. The cover is made from zebra print velvet by the English company colefax and fowler. Both sides can be used.

About the designer
Jan VANEK
Jan Vanek was a Czech industrial designer born in Prague in 1940 and died in 2011. He studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, graduating in 1964.
