About this vintage design furniture
Round dining table designed by Luigi Saccardo for Maison Jansen - Arrmet, France/Italy, 1970s. The table features a thick glass top, a thin layer of black vinyl is applied to underside of the table top. The sculptural base consists of four beautifully curved plates of brushed aluminium. The top rests on a black metal cross.

About the designer
Luigi SACCARDO
Luigi Saccardo was an Italian industrial designer who was born in Venice in 1932 and died in 2017. He studied architecture at Venice's IUAV University and began his design career working for renowned Italian design companies such as Artemide and Cassina.
