Set of four Italian midcentury steel dining chairs designed by Gastone Rinaldi for RIMA, 1970s
The chairs are made of fine tubular chromed steel beautifully shaped. Four original faux leather seat covers. The chromed has been polished whilst the leather covers have been repaired where needed by an hupolsterer. In very good conditions with only few signs of time.
About the designer: The Italian designer Gastone Rinaldi was born in Italy in the 1920; He took control of RIMA, family business metal furniture manufacturer in 1948, (together with his brother Giorgio). Soon after that, RIMA became a leading company in the sector in Italy, creating highly successful products and truly iconic Italian design pieces.
