Vintage highboard model "1893" by Pierre Guariche for Meurop, 1960

Sideboard with 2 doors, a drop leaf and 3 drawers, model "1893" by Pierre Guariche, Meurop edition of 1960 (dated in blue chalk 7/12/60 on the back). Metal structure lacquered in black tone, top and box in varnished teak veneered chipboard, wooden drawers, black lacquered metal handles. This is the first edition of this model, recognizable by its flat handles, used from December 1960 to early March 1961. Extremely rare piece, and first known date for this model! In very good vintage unrestored condition, some traces of use and time, stains, small dents, scratches and wear without gravity. A hole has been made in an interior partition, certainly for a cable passage. Very nice overall appearance, beautiful wood grain.
