About this vintage design furniture

This vintage dresser in teak veneer was designed and manufactured in Denmark in the 1960s, and closely reminiscent of Johannes Andersen projects from the same period. Based on the precise carpentry details remaining his other projects it could be either designed by him or very much inspired by his work. It features six drawers with nicely curved solid teak handles, and top one lockable with the original key provided. This delightful piece represents perfect carpentry and details such as beautifully finished edges in the front, continuity of wood grain, and rich colors. It stands on solid teak slightly sculptured base. Fantastic condition with minor traces of use with clean, smoothly working drawers. Wood preserved with an additional layer of Danish Oil. Additional dimensions: Drawers height: 10 cm Ground clearance: 19 cm Reference : 269742
