About this vintage design furniture
This desk was designed by Helmut Magg in 1950s and produced by Neue Gemeinschaft für Wohnkultur, WK Möbel and still has the original label in one of the drawers. The design is simple yet very elegant. It features a section with 2 drawers on one side and a practical shelf on the other side. The two-sided design makes it a perfect piece for open space office or home office.
The desk is veneered with cherry wood and maple. The piece is fully renovated, finished with high quality satin lacquer and is in very good condition.

About the designer
Helmut MAGG
Helmut Magg was a German designer born in Munich on January 31, 1927 and died on August 3, 2013. He studied sculpture and graphic design at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 1954.
