Vintage French lowboard in black lacquer by Pierre Vandel Paris

Unique Pierre Vandel Paris Black lacquered French Dressoir. In black lacquer with painted glass top and stylish gold trim and handles. The unit has four doors and two cupboards. With some light wear due to age and use, on the backside there is a small hole, used for electricity by the first owner, not disturbing as this is placed against a wall. The sideboard has a beautiful luxurious appearance in the room, very chique style and not much seen. Pierre Vandel was a French interior designer of the 70’s and acquired furniture that represents the taste of the period and also gives a collector’s touch to a contemporary house. Pierre Vandel was based in Paris and in the 1970s he also opened a contemporary showroom in San Francisco and became very popular in the USA. In very good vintage condition. Reference : 266591
