About this vintage design furniture

A very appealing 3-seater sofa designed by Marco Zanuso, manufactured by Arflex in Italy around 1950. The seat and back are made of foam, beautifully upholstered in high quality fabric with a really nice, vibrant purple colour. The gently tilted seat and back add really nicely to the style as well as the seating comfort of this iconic piece. A fantastic find of Italian design that would make an amazing addition to any interior! an award-winning design, exhibited at the Triennale Milano in 1951 and awarded with the Golden Medal. It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
