About this vintage design furniture
This Philips “infraphil” spot lamp originally intended for light therapy, 1970s. It was designed and produced by Philips, in the Netherlands, during the 1970's. For those long wintery days, the Sunlamp brings a touch of warmth and light to any space. During the 50s many people weren’t getting enough sunlight, which saw the rise of lamps of this style to bring some warmth back into the home environment.. It features a chromed base, swivel and transportable, with an outer shell and handle in thick plastic, for easy movement, the head can be tilted up to almost 180 degrees in total. Simple is design and form, the elements are stripped back to their core function. In original and good vintage condition.
