About this vintage design furniture
Made by G-Plan in the UK in the 60s, it is part of the well known Fresco collection. It is in great condition. Legs and frame are made of solid afromosia. The gate leg is designed to leave enough room for all four chairs to fit underneath the table when not in use.

About the designer

Charles Victor Wilkins (1893-1969) was an American industrial designer known for his work in the 1920s and 1930s. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, and studied at the Art Students League of New York and the New York School of Fine and Applied Art.
