About this vintage design furniture
Vase by Gio Ponti and manufactured by Richard-Ginori in Italy in the 1950s. Green porcelain with golden decorations and is signed "Richard-Ginori" on the bottom. In a very good vintage condition with deficiencies in the gold decor. This vase has been manufactured for two decades beginning in 1930 and in various different versions. Published in Banca Intesa book.

Gio PONTI
1891 - 1979Gio Ponti (1891-1979) was an Italian designer, architect, writer and teacher, considered one of the most influential designers of 20th-century Italy. Born in Milan, he studied architecture at Milan Polytechnic University and began working as an architect in 1921.
