About this vintage design furniture

Danish wall unit designed by Preben Sorensen comes from the 1960s. Manufactured most likely by PS System, Randers. This entirely modular shelving system is ideal for a home office, as the compact desk will allow you to work even in the living room. The whole set is finished in teak veneer. The set consists of: - 3 shelves 20 cm deep, - a desk-shelf 45cm deep, - one display shelf for magazines 33 cm deep - a cabinet with sliding doors H:50cm /W:80cm /D: 45cm - a cabinet with glass doors H:34cm /W:80cm /D: 30cm - 3 wooden wall rails, each 200 cm long, - brass fittings and bolts The wall unit is in very good condition, additionally preserved with Danish Oil. About the designer

Henning SORENSEN

Henning Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his elegant, modern furniture. Born in 1926, Sorensen began his career as an apprentice in a Copenhagen carpentry workshop. He went on to work for leading Danish furniture manufacturers such as Fritz Hansen and Fredericia Furniture.
