Vintage wicker and metal armchair by A. Bueno de Mesquita for Rohé, Netherlands 1950s

A lovely easy chair desigend by A. Bueno de Mesquita, manufactured by Rohé in the Netherlands around 1950. This eye-catching piece has a round seat, standing on a V-shaped, black lacquered tubular metal base. The wicker shell rests in the round upper part of the base and this all adds to a nice, harmonious and modern design that will be a great addition to any decor! The woven material of the seat contrasts nicely to the dark, smooth base and gives it a very unique appeal! The piece remains in good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Reference : 251847
