About this vintage design furniture
The “Groeten uit Holland” (Greetings from Holland) chair is an iconic design by Rob Eckhardt, manufactured by Pastoe in the Netherlands around 1980.
Inspired by the Dutch tulip, this asymmetrical chair has an eye-catching style! It is upholstered in beautiful black leather for the seat and armrests. The backrest has a different colour than the rest of the chair, which is how the design was originally meant. It is upholstered in bright red fabric, contrasting nicely to the rest of the piece and adding a wonderful appeal to it’s modern style! A beautiful and iconic piece of Dutch design that will be a valuable addition to any decor! It has a very comfortable seat as well and can be used as a chair or as a chaise longue by sitting in it sideways.
The piece remains in good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
