About this vintage design furniture
This large high-quality ceramic table lamp was designed by the Danish painter and artist Bjørn Wiinblad for the 'Studio Linie' of the German manufacturer Rosenthal. The lamp was manufactured and hand-painted during the 1960s. The fabric lampshade features an integrated white plastic reflector.

About the designer
Bjørn WIINBLAD
Bjørn Wiinblad (1918-2006) was a famous Danish designer, artist and illustrator. Born in Copenhagen, Wiinblad studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before beginning his career as a freelance designer in 1945.
