About this vintage design furniture

An eye-catching chaise longue, designed by Maarten van Severen and manufactured by Vitra in Germany around 1990. This wonderful piece has nice minimalist, modern style. It has a tubular, chrome plated metal base and holds a black fabric upholstered seat and pillow. This combination of contrasting materials gives it a nice luxurious appeal that matches the elegant style of the design really nicely! The shape of the seat naturally follows the user and provides a fantastic seating comfort. A beautiful find of mid-century design that will draw the attention in any decor. It remains in very good condition with new upholstery and only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. Reference : 241722
