Set of 4 vintage dining chairs in black leather by Afra and Tobia Scarpa

This set of four dining chairs were designed by famous Italian designers Afra & Tobia Scarpa. This model shows resemblance to two other of their iconic designs: the 'Monk' chairs (1974) and the 'Dialogo' chairs (1970s) who also have very similar ectangular frames angular backrests. This set of four dining chairs with black leather rests on two frames with the characteristic connections like the 'Monk' chairs. The walnut frame shows the black metal joints like a decorative aspect. The two vertical flat legs are connected on top and on the bottom with two circular pieces. Backrest and seat are made of black saddle leather that show age related signs of wear and rich patina. The edges of the seats and backrests have some small damages due to wear.
