About this vintage design furniture
Table or desk lamp model "Toumas" designed by Yki Nummi in the late 1950s. This example was manufactured by Orno in Finland during the 1950s. Made from two different colored acrylic pieces and lamp fitment in brass. Beautiful light emission.
Very good condition with light age related patina from age and wear.

About the designer
Yki NUMMI
Yki Nummi was a Finnish designer who was born in 1925 and died in 2011. He began his career as an industrial designer for a glass products company, before moving into lighting design in the 1950s.
