About this vintage design furniture
Organic designed writing desk designed by Louis van Teeffelen for Dutch Wébé company. Made around 1960 it shows many influences by Danish design from the period. This desk could be the most accomplished result of his efforts and probably the most sought after. It's executed in solid and teak veneers as well as beech wood interiors to the drawers and it features details in brass
Few minor superficial restorations, Refinished with several coats of Danish oil

About the designer
Louis VAN TEEFFELEN
Wim Rietveld Van Teeffelen, better known as Louis van Teeffelen, was a Dutch designer who was born in 1921 and died in 1972. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as a furniture designer in the 1950s.
