About this vintage design furniture

A rectangular dining table by Henning Kjaernulf for Vejle Stole & Mobelfabrik from the 1960s. It features rich teak grain on the top and two matching hidden leaves (55 cm wide each). The table is comfortable for six people when is not extended, but two extensions provides 250 cm lenght table top which can easily accommodate up to 10 guests. Beautiful grain on top and high-quality craftsmanship enhance the elegance of Danish mid-century design. Excellent original, vintage condition with minor traces of use. Top renovated with Danish oil. About the designer

Henning KJAERNULF

Henning Kjaernulf (1929-2009) was a Danish designer who left his mark on the 1950s-1970s with his functional, elegant furniture. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, where he was trained in carpentry and design.
